Equipment Introduction

X-ray is one of the few non-destructive testing methods in the surface residual stress measurement technology. It measures the stress based on the change of the crystal plane spacing of the material or product. So far, it is still a relatively extensive, in-depth and mature residual stress analysis and testing. One of the methods is widely used in various fields of scientific research and industrial production. Recently, the Japanese company Pulstec has developed a new generation of X-ray residual stress analyzer based on full two-dimensional detector technology-μ-X360s, which pushes the measurement speed and accuracy of using X-ray to study residual stress to a new level.

Equipment Parameter

Measurement accuracy: residual stress measurement system error, meeting the corresponding technical standards, 5 consecutive measurements of stress-free iron powder stress error less than ± 6Mpa. Measuring speed: The residual stress value of each point measured on the carbon steel material does not exceed 2-3 minutes. The shear stress is measured at the same time as the normal stress, and the normal stress and shear stress are reported at the same time in the test report of each point. The minimum collimator is not more than 0.3mm. Open the external signal touch interface, through the digital signal transmission unit hardware to accept the external digital quantity start signal for measurement, after the measurement is completed, the data acquisition software outputs the measurement digital quantity completion signal.

Equipment Function

The X-ray diffraction method is used for non-destructive stress testing of metal material parts after casting, welding, heat treatment and machining. The main tested materials are steel, aluminum alloy, and magnesium alloy. Support test items: residual stress analysis, texture/orientation analysis, grain information, full peak half-height width. It has good portability and can meet the needs of outdoor tests.
